Gulfstream Petroleum Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Fuel Systems Engineer to support fuel systems for emergency and standby generators.

The role involves reviewing designs, sizing and commissioning systems, and coordinating with project teams on AST/UST installations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in fuel systems, a mechanical engineer degree, and strong knowledge of NFPA and related codes.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant engineering, construction, or fuel-system experience
• Experience with AST/UST systems and emergency-generator fuel systems
• Knowledge of NFPA, environmental, fire-code, and AST/UST requirements

Mansioni

• Review project drawings and specifications for scope, constructability, and conflicts
• Estimate projects, perform technical reviews, identify scope gaps, RFIs, and equipment requirements
• Review AST/UST, generator fuel, day tank, remote fill, pump, piping, venting, and monitoring systems
• Perform pump sizing, pipe sizing, flow, pressure loss, and venting calculations
• Prepare and review equipment submittals, shop drawings, schedules, and technical documentation
• Evaluate tanks, pumps, valves, controls, leak detection, and fuel-system equipment
• Support permitting, inspections, and AHJ technical requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, engineers, manufacturers, and generator suppliers
• Support fuel-system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
• Help develop installation standards, QC checklists, testing procedures, and best practices
