Job summary

Gulfstream is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic - Power Plants to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on Gulfstream aircraft and components. The role requires interpreting technical documents and ensuring proper operation of power plant systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with Gulfstream aircraft, hold an FAA A&P license or obtain within one year, and are able to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel.
• Must obtain basic hand tools and toolbox within three (3) months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Organizational, Intermediate, and limited Depot level maintenance including inspection, operational test, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on Gulfstream aircraft, components, and equipment.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems, provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other employees as needed.
• Possess a high degree of expertise in aircraft systems and in-depth knowledge of applicable maintenance/technical manuals, and test equipment.
• Be familiar with operational capabilities and limitations of aircraft systems and maintain all aircraft main, auxiliary, secondary power systems, fuel systems, engine level and bleed air components.
• Perform troubleshooting and testing, including low and high power turn operational checks of power plant systems, replacing or repairing worn or damaged components.
• Remove and replace engines as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical directives, planning documents, test specifications, technical publications and procedures, and safety manuals.
