Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, accounting or related field.
• 2 years petroleum industry experience including management responsibility.
• Strong managerial and leadership competencies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic software tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Establish and achieve fuel margin plan targets.
• Develop strategies to maximize fuel margin.
• Analyze market conditions, margins, and volumes to meet profit targets.
• Oversee pricing strategies and ensure consistency at site level.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information and trends.
• Manage all fuel strategies including supplier and carrier relationships.
• Hire, develop and train the fuel team.
• Negotiate fuel contracts with vendors.
• Coordinate fuel objectives with other departments to optimize store performance.
• Maintain the Fuels Department budget and analyze variances.
• Recommend capital improvements to maximize fuel contribution.
• Implement initiatives related to payment systems including fleet card sales.
