Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Fueler Service Technician in Spokane, WA. The role offers stability, weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. You will fuel vehicles, perform inspections, and support maintenance tasks across locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and strong customer service and English communication skills. CDL-A is preferred but not required; a path to CDL is available within 6 months after hire.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Up to one year of experience preferred or no experience required.
Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated customer service skills; must understand customer's verbal communication.
Basic computer skills including reading codes and data entry; ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and email.

Responsibilities

Fuel vehicles.
Wash and detail vehicles; move heavy duty vehicles.
Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units; check tire pressure and report issues.
Record fuel activity and maintain fuel/DEF inventories.
Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards.
Perform facility maintenance and minor tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Change tires; inspect refrigeration units on trucks.
Other duties as assigned.
