Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Fueler Service Technician to fuel, wash, and detail vehicles, and perform basic inspections and maintenance.

The role offers weekday hours (6:00 am–2:30 pm) with weekends off, a benefits package after 30 days, and opportunities for growth. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and customer service skills; CDL within 6 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated customer service skills; understand customer verbal communication.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to read codes on computer.
• Basic computer skills and data entry ability.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays.
• Must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire and pass Ryder tests.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, wash and detail vehicles.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report issues to shop.
• Record fuel activity and manage fuel/DEF inventories.
• Move heavy duty vehicles.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Maintain fuel island area and perform facility maintenance as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
