Job summary

Allegiant, a national air carrier, is seeking a Fuel Analyst to support the Fuel Management and Procurement teams. You will review data and invoices, maintain pricing terms, and assist with tactical sourcing and contract administration.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in business-related fields and at least 3 years in finance or accounting, with strong analytical and communication skills. This is an on-site role in a fast-paced environment with notable responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in finance, accounting or related area.
• Authorized to work in the US and pass a background check.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work with Allegiant departments to support Fuel Management and company objectives.
• Review fuel data and invoices to ensure costs and taxes are correct; assist with disputes and corrections.
• Maintain Fuel Management System with contracted prices, terms, volume, and fees.
• Assist with fuel tax research to ensure sales and excise taxes are current.
• Reconcile monthly fuel billings to ensure accuracy.
• Support annual fuel tender process through sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
• Maintain fuel vendor and airport fuel operator contact information.
• Assist with fuel supply and service contract maintenance.
• Provide QA with fuel vendor maintenance or audit forms.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, transporters, storage operators, and airports.
