Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Logistics Dispatcher to manage fuel orders and deliveries for multiple locations, ensuring no outages and cost-efficient operations. You will work with drivers, store teams, and other coordinators to uphold KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a collaborative logistics team, hands-on training, growth potential, and a schedule that provides several consecutive days off. This is an on-site position in Ten Mile, TN with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years in transportation dispatch or optimization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze multiple data sources simultaneously
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects successfully
• Ability to work under pressure with significant financial impact relief

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute delivery of hundreds of fuel loads daily
• Analyze staffing, carrier loads, inventories, trucking costs, and fuel pricing for lowest cost action
• Answer high volumes of daily driver calls and adjust dispatch plans accordingly
• Monitor tank volumes and forecast demand to avoid outages
• Maintain tank levels to optimize cash flow and margins
• Track spot market prices and plan dispatches to capitalize on arbitrage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align orders with KPIs
