Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with professional and courteous communication.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly relay information to all involved parties.
• Analytical skills to problem-solve and coordinate difficult situations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage fuel transport drivers’ schedules and routes to ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements.
• Schedule product to be picked up and delivered.
• Serve as central contact point for both drivers and customers, coordinating load and unload process.
• Manage and monitor customer fuel inventories based on customer requirements.
• Oversee multiple trucks, customers, drivers and routes with attention to detail.
• Monitor trucks and drivers en route and assist with issues as they arise.
• Monitor emails and phones consistently.
• Forecast resources at least 7 days out.
• Document all calls, deliveries, routes and times for pickups and deliveries.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
