Job summary

Amentum is seeking an entry-level Fuel Distribution Systems Mechanic (FDSM) Tech C to operate, inspect, maintain and diagnose fuel distribution systems on a union shop floor. You will work with diagnostics equipment, hand and pneumatic tools, and measuring devices as part of a team focused on spill prevention and environmental management.

The role includes installing and repairing liquid fuel systems, troubleshooting from schematics, and performing scheduled maintenance to maximize system

Qualifications

• Entry-level role requiring basic familiarity with diagnostics equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of fuel distribution system maintenance is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to base facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain liquid fuel storage, distribution, and dispensing systems.
• Check operation, pressures, and leaks; troubleshoot malfunctions using drawings and schematics.
• Modify equipment for missions or efficiency; perform routine maintenance and seasonal overhauls.
• Develop operation and maintenance procedures to ensure efficiency; coordinate plans and activities.
