Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Fuels Handling Equipment (FHE) Technician to provide integrated logistics support for War Reserve Materiel fuels assets in UTC configuration. You will inspect, store, and maintain fuel handling equipment to ensure activation and sustainment of contingency operations and exercises.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and English literacy, plus the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in fuel delivery systems maintenance or repair.
• Able to obtain a valid driver's license and a Public Trust clearance.
• English reading/writing proficiency and basic math skills.
• Able to lift and handle tools up to 40 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Tests FHE after repairs, before release or return to storage.
• Inspects and prepares equipment for storage IAW data.
• Performs periodic visual and functional inspections.
• Conducts hydrostatic hose testing.
• Maintains shelf-life and inventories of FHE parts and kits.
• Performs other duties as required by section or program.
