The Air Education and Training Command is seeking a qualified leader to supervise trades and labor work focused on maintaining and inspecting Liquid Fuel Storage tanks and distribution systems at Lackland AFB, Chapman Annex, and Kelly Annex. The role emphasizes leading personnel, ensuring safety, and coordinating resources to accomplish the mission.

The primary purpose of this position is to To exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work maintaining and inspecting Liquid Fuds Storage tanks, distribution systems and their electrical components at Lackland Air Force Base, Chapman Annex, and Kelly Annex.
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards Handbook X-118C for the WG-4200, Plumbing and Pipefitting Group, Fuel Distribution System Mechanic, 4255 series. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed and show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on the quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. The screen out element for this position is the abliity to lead and supervise.
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
