Job summary

TRC, a global environmental and engineering firm and part of WSP, is seeking a Fuel Distribution System Operator in Honolulu. You will receive, store, transfer, and issue fuel through pipelines at terminal facilities, inspect samples, and gauge tanks.

The role requires knowledge of safety programs, spill prevention, and inventory/documentation work using the BSM-E system. A current NEAC Level III background and a valid driver’s license are preferred, with competitive benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience operating fuel distribution systems and handling petroleum products.
• Ability to read gauges and temperatures and convert readings to quantities.
• Experience with inventory, quality surveillance, and documentation using BSM-E.
• Knowledge of safety programs and spill containment procedures.
• Current NEAC Level III background and valid driver’s license.
• Experience with fuel sampling and storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, transfers, and issues fuel through pipelines at terminal facilities.
• Takes fuel samples following prescribed procedures.
• Connects lines and grounding wires to tank trucks.
• Visually inspects fuel samples and gauges tanks for levels.
• Checks pumping systems for correct pressure and unusual noises.
• Performs preventive maintenance and inventory accounting documentation.
• Assists with maintenance of terminal systems and housekeeping.
