Job summary

US NAVAL BASE GUAM (DON) seeks a Fuel Distribution System Operator Leader to oversee a multi-fuel storage and distribution network in the FLCY-CNIC Division. You will plan, coordinate, monitor fuel transfers, and direct loading/unloading aboard tankers and barges, ensuring efficient operations.

Position requires overseeing the tank farm system, adhering to safety and security protocols, and travel as needed for operations at local sites. Active security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of others.
• You will check work while in progress and when finished to see whether the supervisor’s instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines have been met.
• You will control operation of an entire multi-fuel storage and distribution system connected by a network of internal pipelines.
• You will independently initiate, control and terminate fuel transfers throughout the tank farm system.
• You will direct the loading and unloading of fuel aboard tankers, barges and the transfer of fuel from one tank to another within the tank storage areas.
