Job summary

Cox Automotive in Elkridge, MD is seeking a fuel attendant to support auction operations. You will distribute gasoline, record usage, and enter data into AS400 via a portable terminal, ensuring accurate fuel levels and timely restocking.

You will assist customers and staff during sale days, perform safety procedures, report issues with pumps or equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather. A HS diploma and valid driver's license are required; Tue-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm, Sat 7:00am-4:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' related field experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and record gasoline disbursed in vehicles.
• Enter fuel usage in AS400 via portable terminal.
• Start vehicles, check fuel levels, and return to fuel them.
• Report gasoline levels and alert proper personnel to avoid shortages.
• Report inoperable vehicles or equipment to supervision.
• Assist customers in locating vehicles and support sale day duties.
• Support audits of gasoline disbursement when needed.
• Demonstrate safety by following procedures and supporting Safety Excellence.
