Job summary

PLUG POWER INC. is seeking a Field Service Technician-Southwire, Bremen, GA to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks at a fixed location. You will diagnose, troubleshoot and service fuel cells, perform field upgrades, order parts, and report issues.

The role requires travel, safety compliance, and coordination with customers. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with electrical coursework, 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license, and the

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
Three (3) or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Must possess a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and evaluations to maintain the fleet at a specific location.
Performing specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades to existing fuel cells.
Travel as required for business needs and communicate with customer personnel.
