Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations in Peekskill, NY seeks a Fuel and Ash Handler I to monitor and operate auxiliary equipment, ensuring safe, efficient plant operations. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on ash handling systems and tipping floor, and operate loading of metals as assigned.

The role requires operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and cranes, executing inspections, and following safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Mechanical abilities sufficient to perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ability to follow safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect frontend loader on tipping floor and ash house areas.
• Operate mobile equipment (forklifts, manlifts, skid steer loaders) and other equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on ash handling and related systems.
