WIN Waste Innovations in North Andover, MA, is seeking an Assistant Utility Operator to help monitor and operate ash and auxiliary plant equipment from the field, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. You will work rotating shifts, perform minor repairs, and assist in troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, clear communication, and the ability to work with various mobile equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical maintenance and minor repairs on plant equipment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
• Massachusetts Hoisting License 1C/2A or ability to obtain within 9 months.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate ash handling and auxiliary plant equipment.
• Operate plant systems with guidance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Communicate clearly verbally and in writing using intercom/radio/face-to-face.
• Troubleshoot equipment and assist in diagnosing problems.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment as required.
