Job summary

Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting in Duncan, SC, seeks a Foreign Trade Zone Coordinator to lead the FTZ startup and ongoing operations. You will coordinate with CBP, supply chain, logistics, and finance to establish processes and ensure regulatory compliance across the facility.

You will develop procedures, manage inventories, train staff, and monitor updates to maintain readiness for CBP visits and optimize FTZ benefits. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in customs compliance or FTZ operations.
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations and import/export compliance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Inventory systems knowledge; Certified Zone Specialist preferred; CTAPAT experience a plus.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and implementation of FTZ at Duncan facility with CBP coordination.
• Develop and maintain FTZ procedures ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Oversee daily FTZ operations including inventory control, security, audits and reporting.
• Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, operations and finance to optimize material flows.
• Manage communication with brokers, carriers, agencies and external partners.
• Train facility personnel on FTZ procedures and compliance responsibilities.
• Provide guidance on import/export matters and drive continuous FTZ improvements.
• Monitor regulatory updates and prepare documentation for CBP visits.
