Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Operations Manager for the Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) to direct and optimize FTZ operations, ensuring compliance and profitability. You will oversee accounts, start-ups, and staffing while coordinating with CBP and the FTZ Board, maintaining SOPs and accurate FTZ filings.

The role requires 4–7 years in the field, FTZ experience preferred, and strong PC software skills. GEODIS offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Must be PC literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and procedures and present information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Direct FTZ department operations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor productivity and assign new FTZ accounts and startups.
• Train FTZ team members and review daily reports for errors.
• Coordinate with CBP for FTZ requests, bonds and site visits.
• Maintain FTZ SOPs, manuals and filings with CBP.
• Manage employees, hiring, evaluation and time/attendance.
• Oversee on-site technologies and support other stations as needed.
