Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Customs Compliance Specialist to oversee FTZ operations in Indiana, ensuring CBP adherence and accurate documentation. The role partners with FTZ managers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

The candidate will manage filings, perform internal/external audits, and provide technical guidance on FTZ requirements, supporting continuous regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years FTZ operations or related trade compliance.
• Knowledge of CBP regulations and FTZ procedures.
• Experience with FTZ admissions, transfers, and in-bond movements.
• Ability to analyze data, identify compliance risks, and propose improvements.
• Proficiency with SAP, ERP and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FTZ operations and provide coverage as needed.
• Prepare and reconcile FTZ filings and CBP forms.
• Maintain regulatory recordkeeping and document retention.
• Coordinate in-bond movements and verify arrivals.
• Support audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide FTZ guidance to coordinators and teams.
• Prepare FTZ reporting and management updates.
• Identify process improvements to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
