Job summary

Vets Hired seeks a Fiber Splicer to install, splice, test, repair, and maintain fiber optic networks including FTTH infrastructure. You will support field teams, read engineering drawings, and ensure reliable network performance.

Responsibilities include splicing, testing, maintenance, and collaboration with IT, engineering, and field crews. A valid license, SCTE preferred, and flexible on-call rotation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on fiber splicing experience.
• Experience with fusion splicing equipment and testing tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documents and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, splice, and repair fiber optic cables.
• Install and maintain FTTH transmission/receiving equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain fiber network systems and documentation.
