Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in fiber optic or underground utility installation preferred but not required.
• Ability to splice fiber optic cables and use specialized tools.
• Experience with OTDR testing and fiber troubleshooting.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Splice and connect fiber optic cables to maintain networks.
• Diagnose and repair cable issues using specialized testing equipment.
• Prepare detailed reports on completed work and testing results.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and documentation.
