Job summary

St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton, FL seeks a part-time Retail Sales Associate for our golf and tennis shops to deliver exceptional member service.

Responsibilities include assisting members and guests with purchases, merchandising, handling special orders, and booking tennis lessons and court reservations. Weekend work is required, with holidays as needed. Prior retail or hospitality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail and/or hospitality, and customer service experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk a full shift (4-8 hours).
• Must be able to work Saturdays/Sundays and holidays when shop is open.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests with retail needs, including special orders.
• Maintain attractive displays and shop appearance; assist in merchandising.
• Gift-wrap merchandise and answer phones per SOPs.
• Book tennis lessons and court reservations as needed.
• Support inventory counts, trunk shows, and special events.

Essential Responsibilities:The Member Services teams at St. Andrews Country Club, in Boca Raton, FL, pride themselves in going the extra mile to ensure members and their guests receive the absolute best in personal service and support. We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate for our golf and tennis shops to provide our members and their guests with service that goes above and beyond expectations. Work in both Tennis and Golf Retail Shops as necessary.Assist members and guest and create a fun and comfortable shopping experience.Assist and follow up with members and guest on special orders and all other retail needs.Place special orders on B2B sites, online sites and/via email.Assist in merchandising and creating new, interesting and visually pleasing displays, by maintaining a pristine shop appearance and continually folding and straightening merchandise displays.Have full knowledge of tournaments and events and be able to answer member questions pertaining to the events.Assist with monthly inventory counts, trunk shows, and special shopping events.Gift-wrap merchandise for customers.Answers telephone according to company S.O.P.Suggest selections that meet customer’s needs and emphasizes selling points of article such as quality and value.Books lessons and court reservations as needed for Tennis Professional Staff.Must work 1 Saturday or Sunday each week.
