Job summary

Greens at Weaverville is seeking a dependable Transportation Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and other destinations within the facility’s care network.

You will schedule, coordinate, and maintain an organized transportation calendar, communicating details to residents, families, and staff while ensuring on-time arrivals and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations.
• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments.
• Maintain an organized appointment and transportation schedule.
• Communicate appointment details with residents, families, nursing staff, and facility leadership as needed.
• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the transportation vehicle.
• Ensure residents arrive safely and on time for scheduled appointments.
• Maintain the facility transportation vehicle in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow all facility transportation policies and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents throughout transportation.
• Assist with other appointment coordination and transportation-related duties as assigned.

The Greens at Weaverville is a long-term care and rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing individualized, quality care to our residents. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and committed to providing a positive experience for our residents.
