Job summary

Greens at Weaverville is seeking an Appointment & Transportation Driver to reliably transport residents to medical appointments and coordinate schedules. The role requires punctuality, a clean driving record, and strong resident-facing communication in a long-term care setting.

You will maintain transport schedules, assist residents safely in/out of vehicles, and ensure vehicles are clean and compliant with safety procedures. This is a full-time on-site position at the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations.
• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments.
• Maintain an organized appointment and transportation schedule.
• Communicate appointment details with residents, families, nursing staff, and facility leadership as needed.
• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the transportation vehicle.
• Ensure residents arrive safely and on time for scheduled appointments.
• Maintain the facility transportation vehicle in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Follow all facility transportation policies and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents throughout transportation.
• Assist with other appointment coordination and transportation-related duties as assigned.
