Job summary

Greens at Weaverville seeks a dependable and organized FT Transportation Driver to join our team, providing safe and courteous resident transport to medical appointments and activities.

You will schedule appointments, maintain a transportation calendar, and communicate details with residents, families, and staff. You’ll assist residents entering/exiting the vehicle, ensure timely arrivals, and keep vehicles clean and compliant with safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other destinations.
• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments.
• Maintain an organized appointment and transportation schedule.
• Communicate appointment details with residents, families, nursing staff and leadership as needed.
• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the transportation vehicle.
• Ensure residents arrive safely and on time for scheduled appointments.
• Maintain the transportation vehicle in a clean, safe and organized condition.
• Follow all transportation policies and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents throughout transportation.
• Assist with other appointment coordination and transportation-related duties as assigned.

The Greens at Weaverville is seeking a dependable and organized Appointment & Transportation Driver to join our team!

The Greens at Weaverville is a long-term care and rehabilitation facility dedicated to providing individualized, quality care to our residents. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and committed to providing a positive experience for our residents.

Position Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other approved destinations

• Schedule and coordinate resident medical appointments

• Maintain an organized appointment and transportation schedule

• Communicate appointment details with residents, families, nursing staff, and facility leadership as needed

• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the transportation vehicle

• Ensure residents arrive safely and on time for scheduled appointments

• Maintain the facility transportation vehicle in a clean, safe, and organized condition

• Follow all facility transportation policies and safety procedures

• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents throughout transportation
