Job summary

Rose View Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and service under the supervision of the Food Service Directors. You will prepare meals, assemble trays, label nourishment, and transport items to resident floors while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with regulations.

This role requires 0 years experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or assists in preparation of meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Assembles trays, cleans and stores supplies and equipment.
• Continuously cleans food service work areas as food preparation and service are done.
• Labels nourishment, sends or transports it to resident floors.
• Transports trays and carts to or from resident floors.
• Uses all equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Follows proper cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies and prepares food in accord with department procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Communicates with Director of Food Service or Assistant Director of Food Service throughout shift as needed to best meet needs of residents.
• Attends in-service education as assigned and applies information to job tasksMust be able to work every other weekend and holidays and as needed to ensure proper staffing levels

Job Summary:
