Job summary

Sunnyslope Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate STNA to join our caring team in Ohio. As an STNA, you will take vital signs, assist with bathing, grooming, and feeding, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Your role includes monitoring skin and reporting changes to the licensed nurse, while supporting residents' mental health and social needs. Qualified candidates will have a CNA license or be eligible to sit for the CNA exam, a high school diploma or GED, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Nursing Assistant license or be eligible to sit for the CNA exam.
• Experience in long-term care and strong communication skills are preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording vital signs.
• Measuring and recording height and weight, intake and output.
• Caring for the resident's environment.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assisting with eating and hydration.
• Observing skin and reporting changes to licensed nurse; providing skin care as needed.
• Meeting residents' mental health and social service needs.
