The primary responsibilities include entering orders, scheduling work and production, supervising and training team members, receiving, storing, and stocking items, checking dates, adjusting pricing for items going out of code, and performing all department tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Unload trucks, break down loads, prepare U-boats, and distribute them to the floor.
3. Stock shelves, manage backstock, and maintain store presentation.
4. Break down, fold, and bail cardboard.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Meet performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate required equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: 8 hours or more depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: continual maximum.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45%.
• Category IV tasks: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
• Knowledge of MSDS information for all materials used.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and Key Carrier Certification training.
