The primary responsibilities include entering orders, scheduling work and production, supervising and training team members, receiving, storing, and stocking items, checking expiration dates, updating pricing for out-of-code items, and performing all departmental tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Unload trucks, break down loads, prepare U-boats according to department, and move U-boats to the floor.
3. Stock shelves, manage backstock, and maintain store presentation.
4. Break down and fold cardboard, and bail cardboard.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Adhere to company performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: 8-hour shifts or longer based on business needs.
• Job cycles: Continuous maximum effort.
• Lift/carry: Up to 50 lbs.
• Stand: 55%, Walk: 45%, Sit: 0%.
• Category IV tasks: Lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum pull static force: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding of company policies and procedures as outlined in manuals and handbooks.
• Knowledge of MSDS information for all materials used.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and Key Carrier Certification training.
