Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to manage department tasks including entering orders, scheduling work and production, supervising and training team members, receiving, storing, and stocking items, checking dates, adjusting pricing for items going out of code, and performing all department-related duties as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Unload trucks, break down loads, assemble U-boats according to department needs, and transport U-boats to the floor.
3. Stock shelves, manage backstock, and maintain store presentation.
4. Break down and fold cardboard, and bail cardboard as required.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Meet company performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Ability to learn and operate relevant equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: 8-hour shifts or more, depending on business needs.
• Job cycles: continuous maximum effort.
• Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
• Stand: approximately 55%; walk: approximately 45%.
• Category IV tasks: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of MSDS information for all materials used.
• Completion of Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Right-to-Know, and Key Carrier Certification trainings.
