Job summary

Alpha Orthodontics in Mason City, IA is seeking an Orthodontic Clinician to deliver positive experiences for patients while following policies and state dental laws under an orthodontist's supervision.

You’ll assist with appliances, review patient charts and notes, manage remote monitoring triage, educate patients, and maintain sterile operatory. The role requires teamwork and strict infection-control adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Dental Assistant certification may be required by state board.
• Radiography certification as per state requirements.
• CPR certification as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under close supervision.
• Review patient charts, log data and transcribe doctor notes.
• Review remote monitoring dashboard and triage patient scans/messages.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory; follow infection-control policies.
