Position Overview

A Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests, contributing to the hotel's goal of delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring financial profitability.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting rooms.
• Perform tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing trash, and emptying ashtrays.
• Greet guests courteously and respond promptly to their requests.
• Report maintenance issues and repair needs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Perform deep cleaning and special projects as needed, such as mattress flipping or furniture moves.
• Assist in cleaning guest rooms and deliver guest requests.
