Job summary

Renaissance Senior Homes is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals for residents in a safe, clean kitchen using top-line culinary equipment. You will join a supportive team focused on quality service and dignity for residents.

Responsibilities include menu planning assist, ordering, preparing special meals, serving residents, and maintaining a spotless kitchen. High school diploma or GED and 2 years of batch cooking experience required; teamwork essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals and menu items according to proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Utilize culinary talents to cook healthy and tasty menu items.
• Assist with menu planning and ordering of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Assist with preparation of special meals, party menus, and special event menus.
• Set up dining areas and serve residents.
• Maintain cleanliness.
