Responsibilities
  1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
  2. Enter orders, schedule work and production, supervise and train team members, receive, store, and stock items, check expiration dates, adjust pricing of out-of-code items, and perform all department tasks as needed.
  3. Assemble and mix ingredients, prepare trays, and bake goods.
  4. Package, wrap, label baked goods, clean display cases, and stock fresh goods.
  5. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
  6. Oversee Starbucks operations.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform job duties and adhere to policies and safety regulations.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Complete the 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
  • Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, including physical base scores.
  • Able to use or learn to use necessary equipment and tools.
  • Perform all job functions safely.
  • Meet performance standards, including attendance.
  • Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved.
  • Valid identification required.
  • Preferred: 1 year of work experience or technical training.
  • Complete in-house forklift training (job-specific requirement).
Physical Requirements
  • Shift hours: 8-10 hours, depending on business needs.
  • Job involves continual work cycles.
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for approximately 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
  • Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Max static pull: 20 lbs.
