Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking an assistant teacher to nurture great minds and engage with the Phoenixville community. This full-time, hourly role offers a supportive team and the chance to contribute to YMCA programming.

You will help implement dynamic curricula, maintain a safe, welcoming environment, and support children and families through day-to-day activities. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years (2500 hours) verified childcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
• Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
• Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
• Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
• Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
