Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Caregiver/Resident Assistant to provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility, and incontinence care.

You will also keep care records, report changes in residents' conditions, and interact with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public. Must be 21+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pass health/background checks.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and complete state-required training.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Must pass background check and health requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care assisting residents in daily activities.
  • Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, mobility and incontinence care.
  • Keep proper care records and report changes in residents' conditions.
  • Interact effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
