Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailer semi units.
• Maintain and repair equipment to operate a safe fleet and ensure compliance with state and federal trucking regulations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment, brakes, rear trailer doors, structural welding, tires, suspension, axle work, electrical lighting, and engine repair.

Qualifications

• Must possess a DOT health card and have own set of tools.
• Computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Ability to perform vehicle diagnostics with scan tools.
• CDL required. Must attain CDL‑A within 18 months of hire.
• 2nd/3rd shift position. Mandatory overtime required.

Pay

$28.00/hr.
