Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 tractor trailer semi units, maintaining and repairing equipment to operate a safe fleet and ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations.
• Preventive maintenance on all equipment, brakes, rear trailer doors, structural welding, tires, suspension and axle work, electrical lighting, and engine repair.

Qualifications

• Must possess a DOT health card and have own set of tools.
• Computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
