Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a FSQA Technician for the Gourmet Ranch facility in Houston to ensure product quality and safety. The role supports GMP, SSOPs, and USDA/FDA compliance, with responsibilities across receiving, processing, and shipping QC checks.

The position requires a minimum of 1 year in a food production setting, a high school diploma or GED, and HACCP is preferred. Work environment includes refrigerated areas, potential overtime, and shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• Must be able to work in refrigerated environments (35°F–45°F) and freezer environments (-10°F to +10°F).

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material checks and trailer inspections.
• Perform outgoing finished product inspections and verify temperatures and weights.
• Conduct QC checks on product samples prior to shipment.
• Assist with inventory control and daily steak cutting quality checks.
• Complete reports for statistical or operational analysis.
