Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in West Columbia, SC seeks an FSQA Technician II to ensure food safety, quality, packaging and labeling compliance through inspections, audits and verification activities. You will monitor systems, verify net weight, lot traceability, and support internal and third-party audits to maintain regulatory and company standards.

The role requires 2+ years manufacturing experience, knowledge of HACCP/cGMPs, and the ability to operate testing equipment; proficiency in Excel and SAP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in food safety or quality.
• Ability to obtain HARPC and GFSI certification within one year.
• Knowledge of HACCP, cGMPs, preventive controls, and quality systems.
• Ability to operate testing equipment and use Outlook, Excel, and SAP.
• Strong communication, observation, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor food safety and quality systems for compliance with standards and AIMS procedures.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and verification activities for GMPs, hygiene, allergen controls, HACCP, and preventive controls.
• Evaluate raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality or safety concerns.
• Verify packaging, labeling, coding, lot traceability, net weight, and recipe adherence.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits through documentation review and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of sampling, testing, monitoring, and quality verification activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement in food safety and product quality.
