Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is hiring a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Tech I for the 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM). You will support the Quality team by performing process verifications, CCP checks, and packaging inspections to ensure safety and quality of Steven Charles products.

Qualifications

• Follow SOPs and quality protocols.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.
• Able to work weekends and overtime.
• Experience in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify weights, dimensions, and packaging on samples.
• Monitor CCPs and detectors to ensure food safety.
• Check quality points on production lines for compliance.
• Perform sensory evaluations of appearance and flavor.
• Collect samples for lab testing and retention.
• Complete daily paperwork and accurate data entry.
• Report out-of-spec product to QA or supervisor.
• Ensure work follows specifications and requirements.
• Monitor labels for weights, expiration, lot codes.
• Conduct GMP and food safety audits on production lines.
• Perform other duties as needed.
