Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. in Aurora, CO is hiring for a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Tech I on the third shift. The role ensures food safety and product quality across lines, performing checks, audits, and data entry to support SQF, HACCP, and GMP guidelines.

The FSQA Tech I collaborates with QA and production teams to maintain compliance, communicate issues, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced dessert manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; prior food safety/quality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Ability to follow SOPs and QC procedures.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Willing to work the 3rd shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform process checks on food samples for weight, dimensions and packaging.
• Monitor CCPs and detectors to ensure product safety.
• Verify quality checkpoints across multiple lines for compliance.
• Conduct sensory evaluation of taste and appearance.
• Collect samples for microbiological lab and retention.
• Maintain accurate daily records and data entry.
