US Foods, Inc. in Aurora, IL is seeking a Quality Control Associate to improve product quality by conducting checks at receiving, processing and shipping.

This role supports FSQA activities and ensures compliance with USDA, FDA and other regulatory programs in a refrigerated plant environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a food production setting, a high school diploma or GED, and an interest in HACCP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• USDA or FDA experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform incoming raw material check, including trailer inspection, and assess product appearance, temperature and weight.
• Perform outgoing finished product inspection and verify accuracy of orders and packaging.
• Conduct daily QC tasks including calibration of equipment and monitoring of metal detectors and aging inventory.
• Assist with inventory control and training of employees as needed.
