Job summary

US Foods in Aurora, IL is hiring for a Full Time Quality Assurance/ QC Associate. You will perform incoming material checks, outgoing product inspections and CCP verifications in a refrigerated environment, with emphasis on GFSI compliance and GMP practices.

This role requires 1 year in food production and a HS diploma, with HACCP preferred. Schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays as needed; OT may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material checks, including trailer inspection for cleanliness, temperature and conditions.
• Perform outgoing finished product inspection, verify order accuracy and packaging integrity.
• Monitor calibration of thermometers, scales and antimicrobial applications; CCP verification.
• Assist with inventory control and daily steak cutting quality checks.
• Complete regular reports for statistical or operational analysis and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
