Job summary

US Foods seeks a focused quality control professional to ensure product quality from receiving through shipping. The role supports FSQA and compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, and regulatory standards, performing inspections, calibrations, and CCP checks in a refrigerated plant environment.

Responsibilities include daily QC tasks, inventory support, and training of staff, with consideration for overtime as needed. Base pay ranges reflect industry norms for this role in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a food production environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• USDA or FDA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming raw material checks including trailer inspection and product weight.
• Inspect outgoing finished products for order accuracy and packaging integrity.
• Monitor CCP verification and daily antimicrobial application.
• Assist with inventory control and upkeep of equipment calibration.
• Conduct daily QC checks and verify cutting yield where applicable.
• Provide training to staff when necessary and submit regular reports.
