Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Georgia is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to ensure QA across production processes, materials, and products. You will perform standardized tests, document HACCP-compliant data, and communicate findings to improve processes.

The role requires a basic manufacturing background, HS Diploma, and familiarity with FDA/USDA regulations and batch record keeping; a seafood processing background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, and GMPs.
• Familiarity with FDA, USDA, and sanitation regulations.
• Accurately maintaining batch records, and digital tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conducts standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Documents data during QA activities consistent with HACCP and company policies.
• Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture content, qualities and quantities.
• Applies acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with grade and status.
• Audits production facility and reviews employee sanitation.
• Prepares reports communicating QA results to production and management.
