Job summary

Trident Seafoods seeks a Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to uphold quality across production processes, materials and products. You will perform tests, document data, and help ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs and FDA/USDA regulations in a temperature-controlled plant.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of manufacturing experience, a HS diploma, and prefer 1 year in seafood processing. You will audit facilities, maintain batch records, and communicate issues with management to

Qualifications

• 6 months’ experience in manufacturing.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 year in food processing.
• Preferred: 1 year in a seafood processing facility.
• Knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP and GMPs.
• Familiarity with FDA/USDA sanitation regulations.
• Accurate batch records and digital tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conducts standardized tests on products and materials to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulations.
• Documents data from QA activities per HACCP and company policies and procedures.
• Records test data such as weights, temperatures, moisture, quality, and quantities.
• Applies acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with grade and status.
• Audits production facility and reviews sanitation.
• Communicates issues and recommends process improvements to QA/Production.
