Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technician in San Bernardino, CA. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes maintaining high safety and quality standards across our meat snack manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience with HACCP, SQF, or BRC, and other food safety standards.
• Proven experience in inspection, swabbing, calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree or certification in food science or related field would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with HACCP, SQF, BRC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections, swabbing, and calibration of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal operation and hygiene.
• Troubleshoot any issues related to food safety and quality, taking swift and appropriate action to rectify problems.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, tests, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure the highest food safety and quality standards are consistently met.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality assurance.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members on food safety and quality assurance best practices.
