Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Technician to uphold food safety and quality standards across the plant. You will inspect products and systems, document results, and take corrective action as needed to protect the consumer and brand.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, working in shifts, and the ability to read product specs; strong communication and problem-solving are essential for daily QA tasks and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of food manufacturing or QA related experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate hourly workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems.
  • Document and calculate results accurately.
  • Take corrective action when necessary and report results to management.
  • Assist with additional assignments as requested.
